If someone can give me a good, creative explanation of what their costume is, even if it looks like plainclothes, they get candy. If it’s some character I don’t recognize and they can tell me who it is, they get candy. If they explain they have sensory issues and can’t wear a costume, they get candy. Hell, if they so much as simply politely ask, “Can I please have some, too?” I’ll give them candy.
