Thanks for voicing your opinion! I definitely didn’t claim it to be perfect either. Drying fish smell is too anecdotal. Alcohol abuse numbers don’t add up according to statistics. If the issue with Iceland is cost of living, I can see that. But locals get paid a ton already! You didn’t mention the smell from the drying fish every year. Nor did you mention their high rate of alcohol abuse. Lastly I experienced negative interactions with a few locals based on my skin color.
