Totally agree, they focus on the deaths and the deaths that had nothing to do with covid are included. They report the Number of confirmed cases and the number of confirmed deaths so the difference is the number of survivors. Unnecessary deaths are what make news and of course there is no such thing as unnecessary survival if I may put it that way.
But hey when there's a car crash the fact that some or all survived doesn't have the same ring as those who didn't. Stop listening to the people who clearly have no idea and start waking up to the facts. If you ever become vulnerable, or when you eventually become elderly, let’s hope younger people have a bit more compassion than most seem to have at the moment. Maybe go and have a chat with those who have been on the frontline, to those who have survived, and are having to deal with the long term after affects.
