Is there is there a reason that you have heart palpitations? New medication too much caffeine anxiety? If you check your pulse and it's not beating consistently and it skips or stops for a beat or two and there is no explained reason then I would go to my primary care doctor first for a cardiogram to check to make sure things are okay! There are so many things to make the heart palpate and it could be something as simple as one of the things I mentioned above. Good luck
