Now when you talk of criminality, you are looking at things from a limited human perspective. From the perspective of the Creator, criminality includes everything that is not in keeping with His moral laws no matter who does them, including you and me! On a 30 mph stretch of road, the Police can arrest the man who drives at 35 mph or 70. They are both guilty before the law. What then does God do about the criminality? Because He is compassionate and merciful, He makes a way for us to be pardoned; and His way encompasses the big criminals to whom you refer as well as you and me.
And the natural catastrophes? God is on the way to bring them all to an end, in His own good time and in His own wonderful way. Here is what one of His prophets foresees: Then I saw ‘a new heaven and a new earth,’ for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away … And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling-place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death”[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’
