The body-cinching item came in bubblegum pink and for an extra va va voom effect, it was laced up through the front. The corset was a perfect addition to elevate Lipa’s simple look that included a tiny black Coperni bag and white sneakers. Her baggy white pants emphasized the silhouette-skimming nature of the corset. As for Hadid, he went the simple route in a green long sleeve shirt and brown pants that were rolled up past the ankle to show off his print socks.
Sure, corsets’s lingerie nature make them feel more of a nighttime piece, but they’ve become a 24-hour statement piece over the past years. Bella Hadid and Kim Kardashian West have both opted for what can be termed as the “casual corset.” Lipa’s way of wearing it gave the out-of-this-world piece a down-to-earth effect that has just as much head-turning effect as night as it does in the day.
